Susan Avezov is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over twenty years of experience in the nursing field, dedicated to providing high-quality care, particularly in oncology. Susan has been committed to serving patients across various locations on Long Island since 1996, bringing her extensive experience to the specialized field of cancer care.
Susan's passion for nursing was sparked in childhood when she witnessed her grandmother suffer from arthritis. This early experience instilled in her a deep understanding of the impact that compassionate care can have on someone's life, a principle that she now applies to her work in oncology.
Susan graduated with a Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care from Adelphi University. She received a Diploma in Nursing from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College.
In addition to her professional achievements, Susan has been married for over twenty years and is the proud mother of five children. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book or baking bread.
