Nurse Practitioner
Shannon M. Munday, MS, AGNP-C, is a dedicated and board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care in the oncology and hematology specialties. Shannon became a Registered Nurse in 2008, following in the footsteps of both her grandmother and grandfather, joining numerous other family members who have chosen to work in the field of nursing. She later earned her Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Stony Brook University. Initially, Shannon worked in private practice, where she gained valuable experience in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and the treatment of acute illnesses. Her interactions with mutual patients at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists inspired her to transition from primary care to the oncology and hematology fields. Shannon is excited to bring her extensive knowledge of diverse health issues to this specialty and looks forward to guiding patients through their personal journeys toward positive health outcomes. In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid traveler, often seeking adventurous destinations around the world.
