Nicole Tessar, PA-C is a hard working and highly motivated board-certified Physician Assistant who is dedicated to high quality, patient-oriented care. Prior to joining New York Cancer and Blood, she acted as the lead Internal Medicine Physician Assistant on a Medical and Telemetry floor at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Through this experience, she gained a strong medical background and advanced her clinical skills. She takes her role as Physician Assistant very seriously, advocating for her patients is her top priority.
Nicole completed both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Seton Hall University. During this time, she served as president of PASSHU, the Physician Assistant Student Society at Seton Hall and was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for academic achievement.
She is dedicated to education and teaches American Heart Association CPR classes, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Life Support to fellow colleagues as well as nonmedical personnel in the local community.
She is passionate about health and fitness and is an avid runner. She is involved in her local community and supports others to live a healthy lifestyle.
