Dr. Yasser El-Hennawy is a board-certified medical oncologist/hematologist with over 35 years of experience practicing medicine.
Dr. El-Hennawy completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt. He then went on to complete two residencies, in Diagnostic Radiology and Internal Medicine before completing his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and Hospice/Palliative Care. Dr. El-Hennawy completed his residencies at Woodhull Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY and Al Agouza Hospital, Giza, Egypt. He completed his Fellowships at James J. Peter VAMC/Mt. Sinai, Bronx NY, Harvard University and Stony Brook University.
Previously, Dr. El-Hennawy was an attending physician at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and Brooklyn VA Medical Center.
