Dr. Varun Modi is a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist who is deeply committed to providing exceptional care. He received his medical degree from C.U.Shah Medical College and Hospital in Surendranagar, India.
He completed his Residency at Seton Hall University at St. Michael Medical Center, where he served as Associate Chief Resident. Dr. Modi went on to complete his Fellowships at New York Medical College at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where he was Chief Fellow.
Dr. Modi speaks fluent English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Urdu. In his free time, he enjoys playing Cricket and Volleyball.

"Dr modi seems ok and the pa they keep giving us appointments with when we try to book him is very nice. Unfortunately his office isn't very great. The one lady there is always helpful and nice but the other is nasty. The last time we were there she told me... next time I should just stay home and shouldn't go with my husband. Very unprofessional. I ignored it completely but the other lady behind the counter couldn't control her shocked look. My husband followed my lead and ignored it but when we left he felt bad for me and apologized. Should not have been his place to but she left us both feeling horrible... It's days later and it's still upsetting me and I can't sleep. I see another oncologist and I am ready to have my husband go to him strictly because of this one person. Unfortunately I have to go and deal with them because my husband has a comprehension disorder."
