  • "This March, my partner was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. By luck, our first appointment with an oncologist was with Dr Murphy, a hematologist/oncologist with New York Cancer and Blood, in Riverhead/Southampton. In the middle of our dreadful panic, the moment we saw him, he calmed us down and started to lay out a common-sense path to dealing with our crisis. His quiet, soothing demeanor, his knowledge, and his empathy was indispensable in putting us on our path to recovery and a long life for my gal."
