After receiving his Bachelor of Science at Pace University with honors, Dr. Joshua Harris obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University. Upon the completion of his M.D.., Dr. Harris completed his Categorical Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at NYU Winthrop hospital. During which time he received honors as the most outstanding resident. He was also elected and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national Honor society for excellence in scholarship, high professionalism, leadership, and gifted teaching. To conclude his post-graduate training, Dr. Joshua Harris completed his Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at NYU Winthrop Hospital. In his final year of training, Dr. Harris was named Chief Fellow for the department of Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Joshua Harris has special interest in cases focused on GI malignancies, lung and breast cancer.

  • "My mother was being followed by Dr. Harris for myeloma treatment. From the start, Nina (nurse manager) organized the process keeping me well informed of her meds and oncology sessions. Ms. Angela coordinated my mom's appointments assisting me with my multitude scheduling conflicts, encouraging me when I was disappointed from canceling. Nurse Williams always had a pleasant attitude and made sure her apprehension from needle sticks went well with 'the spray' ( my mom clalled it). This leads me to Dr. Harris. He is amazing to say the least. As a nurse with over 26 years experienced with a multitude of physicians, Dr Harris is a cut above the majority of them. His mannerism, knowledge and professionalism created an atmosphere of calm amidst the storm stemming from the dx of cancer. He assured my mom of her treatments and encouraged her throughout the process. She felt anxious entering his office but everytime he entered the room, his smile, the explanations of her treatments and unwavering demeanor assured my mom through the visit. He always left her with hope and reassurance that he is watching over her progress.... the last concern my mom had was not getting enough soup at the Skilled Nursing Facility.... so what did Dr Harris do???? Sent her with orders for ...... MORE soup... A doctor who listens is worth millions!!! Thank you Dr Harris! You and your staff are amazing!"
