Dr. Askin is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and residency program at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Pennsylvania Hospital. He completed his Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Askin is affiliated with Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health.

He enjoys staying fit by running, weight training, and practicing Jiu-Jitsu.

  • "I did a lot of research and reviews before choosing to make an appointment to see Dr Askin.On the day of the appointment I was placed in a room and was told that Dr Askin would be in shortly to see me.Unfortunately another young man came in and said he is Dr—, and would be seeing me.I had several abnormal labs but he said he is only focusing on one..His explanations were vague.I felt very disappointed with this visit.If Dr Askin was unavailable,I should have been notified or asked if I want to reschedule.However after I complained ,the Manager asked Dr Askin to speak with me.This reshuffle is not acceptable."
