Dr. Pouyan Gohari Joins New York Cancer & Blood Specialists

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is proud to announce the addition of board-certified Hematologist-Oncologist Pouyan Gohari, MD. Dr. Gohari will see patients at 2236 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11210.

Dr. Gohari has over 15 years of experience, specializing in lung, prostate, and gastrointestinal tumors. He is committed to treating patients like family and delivering the highest-quality individualized care. Dr. Gohari always aspired to be a doctor. Medicine combined his two passions, his love of caring for others, and his passion for the sciences. “A sacred relationship is forged when the doctor starts a one of a kind journey with the patient, from time of diagnosis and throughout the treatments,” said Dr. Gohari.

Dr. Gohari received his medical degree from Stony Brook University before completing his Residency at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ Medical Center. He then completed his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Gohari enjoys meditating, listening to music, and swimming.
